We achieved the clients desire to create a light filled living space that connects with both the house and the garden.
This couple were keen to create additional space for relaxation and larger get-togethers when their family returned home.
The design makes uses of a large expanse of sliding doors to both elevations, as well as 3 large rooflights to amplify the natural daylight and sense of connection with the outdoors. The design incorporates an element of open-plan, whilst maintaining a clear distinction of room functions to aid in communication, connection, and a sense of homeliness.
