We helped our lovely client achieve considerable improvements to their home with some clever planning to utilise their available space to maximum benefit.
With increasing mobility issues, our client wanted to future proof their home by providing a double bedroom and associated en-suite, to the ground floor. With a wrap-around extension, and some internal remodifications, we have packed a lot into this one including a front accessed storage space with electric car charge point, a new front storm porch, a large combined en-suite & utility room, with a bedroom overlooking the garden room with views directly to the garden craft office beyond, as well as a brand new reconfigured and improved open plan kitchen diner with ample space for when the family visit.
Inspired by our clients exceptional creative nature we wanted to create something of equal parts practical and style for her to thoroughly enjoy. Incorporating a fresh monochrome design with through-colour off-white monochouche render & contrasting anthracite grey roof capping to the flat roof, adding a stepped rear elevation feature with soffit lighting, and including strategically positioned windows, doors & rooflights to achieve an even distribution of natural daylighting, we have produced an inspiring, functional & homely space.
