This rendered single storey wrap-around extension project incorporates remodelling works to create a glorious open plan family home.
The project brief was to transform a tired property into a contemporary home suitable for a young family, that can adapt and grow together. The intention was to maximise the available space to its full potential to increase the property value, but most importantly provide a suitable and welcoming environment conducive to family life, and all on a fairly tight budget !
Through the architecture, combined with both interior and exterior design, this home cleverly packs a punch; with thoughtful strategic interventions we’ve achieved a big transformation that makes use of clever storage ideas, thoughtful built additions, new rooflights, and even a living green sedum roof to improve the views from the first floor bedroom.
The home works exceptionally well on both a practical, and emotional wellbeing perspective. The enhancement of natural daylight invites a sense of spaciousness and delight that can be enjoyed by all the family.
