Our clients came to us with the intention of creating something unique and exciting – an Architects dream client! We’re pleased to present this beautiful little scheme that ticks all the boxes.

Working closely with our clients to narrow down the most wonderful of ideas we’ve created a gorgeous contemporary single storey rear & side addition to a growing family home. With a little internal remodelling and some clever space planning we have managed to create the clients desire for a sociable open plan kitchen-dining space with views out to the garden. We've also managed to incorporate additional practical storage, a home office, and a utility cupboard into what is a pretty tight urban site !

We've incorporated an L shape extension plan with a stunning mix of modern black brick and wrap-over metal cladding materials to give a high-end feel to this beautiful design. The bespoke design includes specialist joinery items such as timber slat room dividers, IPS & utility cupboards, clever under-stair storage solutions & a beautiful big solid wood window seat with large feature window overlooking the garden. An array of well thought out glazing solutions including a fantastic feature long rooflight capturing the south light, full height slot windows and high level privacy windows to capture the west evening light, alongside sliding windows and bifold doors overlooking the garden, all combine to create an overall stunning scheme.

We've looked at material samples, discussed through key design specifications and product choices, & provided a complete comprehensive drawing package that offers all the information required for a builder to quote from, as well as some flexibility of choice, such as internally exposed ceiling rafters, to be made by the client on site. We also assisted the client in selecting their ideal local builder with a great reputation to complete the project to a high standard for them. ​
