The project brief parameters included a desire to create a sun filled space benefiting from the potential south facing aspect & inclusion of a long-awaited designated utility room, alongside the need to accommodate potential future adaptability requirements to transform into disabled friendly accommodation. Subsequently the garden room juts into the garden focussing on maximising the openings onto a newly created private courtyard space, and is suitably sized to transform into a double bedroom and a large ‘en-suite’ bathroom is incorporated.

Our design makes positive use of an otherwise dead / under-utilised space to provide a spatious & beautiful sun-filled garden room with direct level access onto a south facing courtyard space making positive contributions to the occupants daily wellbeing, all with the future potential of transforming into a designated disabled friendly space if needs be.
