OSB ARCHITECTS designed a beautiful and successful little garden room with south facing bifold doors and a corner window to capture the west facing evening light.
Our client wanted some internal remodelling works completing alongside the addition of a multi-functional informal garden room / 2nd sitting room – to create a hang-out space for their growing teenagers, a relaxation space and a grown-up evening space for entertaining.
The garden room extension incorporates exposed brickwork walls, an impressive roof lantern, bifolding doors onto a newly created mini-patio courtyard area, a feature corner window to capture the evening light, and a soffit overhang with recessed spotlights. The internal remodelling works opens up the existing kitchen - dining space, with new high level windows adding additional natural daylight whilst maintaining privacy, as well as new internal glazed pocket doors to the living room, offering the opportunity to open up the space far more when entertaining.
